Why Aray

Everything you need. Nothing you don't.

A native Windows shell around a world-class engine — so pages render exactly like Chrome, while the browser itself stays quick and quiet.

Lightning fast

Native .NET 8 shell on Microsoft WebView2. Background tabs are suspended automatically to save memory.

Smart tab management

Pin, mute, duplicate and drag-reorder tabs. Reopen closed tabs and restore your whole session on startup.

Password manager

Logins are encrypted with Windows DPAPI and only ever filled on the exact site you saved them for.

Smart omnibar

Type a URL or a search — suggestions come from your history and bookmarks, with your choice of search engine.

Dark, light & system

Switch themes instantly, no restart. Fully localized in English and Turkish.

Silent auto-updates

New versions download and verify in the background, then install on your next restart — no UAC prompt.

Download manager

Live progress, safe renaming of duplicates and one click to show the file in Explorer.

Bookmarks & history

A bookmark bar, a searchable side panel and full history — all stored locally on your PC.

Built for developers

F12 DevTools, find-in-page, zoom, print and true F11 full screen — DevTools can be locked off in Settings.

Privacy by default

Your browsing stays yours.

No account, no sync servers, no tracking. Everything Aray stores lives on your own machine.

Ad & tracker blocking at the engine level

Requests to known ad and tracker domains are stopped before they leave your PC — no extension required. The blocklist is cached on disk, so you're protected from the very first page load.

0requests blocked this visit

Real incognito isolation

Each private window gets its own throwaway browser profile, wiped from disk when you close it — plus a distinct theme so you always know where you are.

INCOGNITOIsolated profile · nothing saved

Telemetry is off. Really.

Anonymous crash reports are strictly opt-in, never include URLs or page content, and can go to a server you host yourself.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Will websites work the same as in Chrome?

Yes. Aray renders pages with Microsoft's WebView2, which is the same Chromium engine behind Edge and Chrome.

Where are my passwords stored?

Only on your PC, encrypted with Windows DPAPI under your user account. They are never uploaded anywhere and are only filled on the exact site they belong to.

Can I import from Chrome or sync between devices?

Not yet. Sync and extensions are planned for a future release — Aray stays honest about what isn't built yet.

Does Aray collect any data?

Not unless you opt in. Optional anonymous crash and usage reports never contain URLs or page content.

How do updates work?

Aray checks for new versions in the background, downloads and verifies new versions, and installs them when you restart — or with one click from the toolbar.
